Abstract : Kalhans Rajataragini (Stein 1961: 30) mentions Kushan Kings Hushka, Jushka and Kanishka of having built three cities on their own names as Hushkapur, Jushkapur and Kanishkapur in Kashmir valley has been corroborated by the archaeological discoveries from time to time.
