Abstract : The Konkan coast of Maharashtra is one of India’s most productive marine fishing regions. Extending approximately 720 km along the Arabian Sea, the region includes coastal districts such as Palghar, Thane, Mumbai, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg.
