Abstract : Agriculture is the backbone of Indian economy. Agriculture is the source of livelihood for 65 to 70 percent of people in the country. Not only men are involved in Indian agriculture, but women in rural areas are also heavily involved in agriculture. Indian women are playing an important role in the development of agriculture.
